ConstruckSlope Plus is one of the most advanced solutions for slope protection, designed to meet modern infrastructure challenges with efficiency and sustainability. This innovative system features a 50% lower carbon footprint compared to shotcrete, built-in drainage to alleviate pore water pressure, and provides robust protection against both internal and external erosion. It also offers additional slope stability, a unique feature not commonly found in other erosion control systems, while being faster to install and surprisingly economical.
This cutting-edge system is currently being implemented on the slopes of the Al Khad Sham Road Project in Sohar, Oman, near the proposed GCC Railway Line to Sohar. The challenging mountainous terrain of the region provides a perfect setting to showcase the effectiveness of ConstruckSlope Plus in ensuring long-term stability and safety for critical infrastructure projects.
The installation, carried out by Marmol as the installation contractor, highlights the technical and engineering advantages of ConstruckSlope Plus in Oman’s rugged environment. Over 40,000 m² of the system, along with complementary surface protection measures like rockfall barriers, high energy absorption panels, rock bolting, and wire netting, is being deployed, making this one of the largest slope protection projects in Oman in recent years.
With its ability to address complex geotechnical challenges while prioritizing sustainability and cost-efficiency, ConstruckSlope Plus sets a new standard for slope protection. Its deployment at Al Khad Sham Road not only reinforces the system's reliability but also establishes a benchmark for future infrastructure projects in the region
