In a continued commitment to innovation and sustainability, Marmol Integrated recently completed a thermal drone inspection at the Manah 1 Solar Power Plant, one of the largest and most significant renewable energy facilities in Oman.

The inspection leveraged cutting-edge drone-based thermal imaging to assess the condition of thousands of solar panels across the expansive site. This technology enabled rapid, non-intrusive identification of anomalies such as overheating cells, microcracks, and panel inefficiencies—allowing for early detection and preventive maintenance.

By adopting this advanced approach, Marmol ensured precise and efficient data capture with minimal disruption to plant operations. Compared to traditional manual inspections, the drone-based method offered a smarter, faster, and more accurate alternative, enhancing overall system performance and energy output.

The successful completion of this project reinforces Marmol’s position as a forward-thinking service provider in the infrastructure and energy sectors, actively contributing to the advancement of renewable energy solutions in the Sultanate.
